We are trying something new here at the Immunocompromised Host Society, or something that is new for us. There is a lot of information available on the website www.ichs.org but it is sometimes difficult to make your way through it. Through this blog, we will try to post new items of interest to our member and we will have appropriate links back to the website to make it easier to find them.
Along the right side of the page you will also see links to News items concerning the Immunocompromised Host from various sources on the web. The intent is not for the Society to endorse these articles but simply to provide them for easy review.
There is also an area of upcoming dates of interest such as conferences, abstract submission deadlines, registration events, etc.
As is true of all such endeavors. The site is only as good as the information posted. We welcome submissions of relevant information. You are also encouraged to comments for improvement.

I was impressed on discovering that the Imunocompromised Host Society has been in existence since about the time as when the first cases of Hiv was seen in young gay men with uncommon oportunistic infections.Over the years a manifold of opportunistic infections have been highlighted in the immunocompromised host.I'.m particularly upbeat about the 15th international conference in Thessaloniki"co-capital".Keep up the good work and enligten the world on whats new in the immuno compromised host.Cheers
